Chain shortening hook

Description

Chain shortening hook with spring operated locking device

The chain shortening hook is the ideal accessory for coupling and shortening chains and can lift 2.5, 4 and 6.7 tonnes.

By combining innovation and high quality with light weight, we have succeeded in creating the most efficient hook on the market.
Its design makes it easy and intuitive to position correctly along the chain.
Its efficiency makes it faster and safer to shorten to a comfortable height.

The CC closure, namely with two spring-loaded locking pins, is very versatile because it offers an open-close function along both directions of the chain for a secure hold. It can be moved at will by the operator in both directions, i.e. upwards and downwards. For good visibility during work, it has been created in a fluorescent colour, so that it can be clearly distinguished from the chain and can be checked if it is correctly positioned on it.

The shortening hook is easy to both remove completely and move it to any part of the chain when not in use.
With three different capacities, we have provided a flexible and safe solution for every lifting task.
The hook can be immediately mounted and positioned on any part of a chain sling, making it ideal for long chains, as shortening can be done near the bottom instead of at the top.
