Galvanized curb protection rail

Description

The Galvanized curb protection rail is a safety system that is used to protect people from accidental falls from balconies, terraces and stairs. It consists of a galvanised steel structure and has an adjustable opening from a minimum of 5 cm to a maximum of 50 cm, allowing it to be adapted to any kerb width. This makes it a versatile solution for safety protection.

Our Galvanized curb protection rail consists of two interconnected elements:

• UPRIGHT: composed of two rectangular-section tubes; one is perforated to allow for the adjustment of the clamp, the other has three welded brackets to support the handrail, intermediate and toe stops.
• CLAMP: composed of a U-bent plate welded to the screw-holding tube and a clamping screw.

The galvanised kerb guardrail can be used in brief as a temporary protection support against falling from heights. Obviously, as required by the standard, it is capable of practically supporting a person walking towards the protection and arresting a person falling towards the protection itself; it is also capable of arresting the fall of a person sliding along an inclined surface.
