The hydraulic rotator with 16 ton flange – model GR160FD-2 is an indispensable accessory that allows the rotation of, for example, forestry grapples, and the opening and closing movement of the two jaws.
The rotators have two standard lower connections that are used to connect the rotator to the forestry grapple or the anti-opening valve via hydraulic hoses. On the other hand, the upper part of this rotator is equipped with 2 connections for connecting the hoses that will go to the pump of the vehicle on which the hydraulic rotator will be applied and which will be used to rotate the gripper to the right, left and to open or close it.

The mechanical connection to the vehicle is made by means of a pivoting fork or also known as a crane connection; on the gripper side, the connection is made by means of a pin or flange that is connected via an adapter on the gripper.
The vehicles on which these rotators are normally mounted are cranes, forestry loaders and excavators.
