Lifting net for cranes

Description

Our lifting net for cranes is designed to ensure maximum safety and strength during load-handling operations. Featuring a square mesh configuration with maximum dimensions of 60×60 mm, the net is made from high-tenacity materials like high-density polyethylene or polypropylene. With a minimum tensile strength of 2.2 kN, it guarantees high load capacity and long-term durability, tested according to the UNI EN 1263-1:2015 standard.

Each component is strictly designed to comply with international safety standards, such as UNI EN ISO 2307:2019, which regulates the physical properties of ropes used in conjunction with the net. This ensures safe and compliant lifting operations.

The lifting and transport accessory nets fall under the scope of Italian Legislative Decree 17/2010, which implements the EU Directive 2006/42/EC.

Usage conditions

• Special attention should be given to the material being handled to create a secure combination between the load and the lifting device. The parameters to be monitored include:
  • Weight of the load to be moved
  • Dimensions in relation to the lifting net used
  • Geometry of the load
  • Characteristics of the surfaces in contact with the lifting net
  • Type of lifting accessories used between the lifting net and the lifting device

It is also recommended to use a four-branch chain sling, and the system’s capacity must match or exceed that of the lifting net. The capacity of lifting accessories also depends on the rigging mode and the angle of inclination. The sharper the angle, the lower the load-bearing capacity of the rigging accessories.
