GLOBUS 2000 Semicircular Basket for Hydraulic Cranes

SOLTEC designed the GLOBUS 2000 semicircular basket to provide safe and efficient work at height. Moreover, its semicircular design makes it ideal for tree pruning and for working near corners or other hard-to-reach areas.

Intuitive Leveling System

A valve on the piston controls the gravity-based leveling system. First, the operator opens the valve, gravity automatically levels the basket. Then, the operator closes the valve, the platform remains stable during operation.

Semicircular design for pruning and working in corners

The semicircular design makes it easier to work around plants, branches, and obstacles, reducing the risk of getting stuck during pruning operations. Furthermore, the basket’s shape improves access to corners, façades, vertical structures, and other difficult-to-reach areas.

Convenient Access to the Basket

Access to the basket is through a practical and functional door, designed to make it easy for operators to enter and exit. In addition, thebasket accommodates two operators, provided the maximum load capacity and operating configuration are respected.

Regulations and Configuration

The GLOBUS 2000 basket is designed in accordance with the applicable requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC. It can be configured in accordance with EN 280:2022 when purchased with the EN 280 Compliance Kit, depending on the crane it is paired with, its mounting configuration, and its intended use.

Application on a hydraulic crane

The basket is attached to the crane boom using a spigot connection. The spigot connection is not universal and must be verified based on the crane model, the geometry of the extensions, and the mounting configuration.
