Description

Fibreglass manbasket for two people.

Dimensions:

• Length: 174cm
• Width: 71cm
• Height: 113cm

Fibreglass basket for two people for cranes is commonly used by those who have to carry out work at height with 2 operators. The cage that serves to contain the 2 operators is made of fiberglass, a light and easily transportable material. It weighs only 105 kg. Although it is able to make 2 people work, it has very small dimensions, making it compact and easy to handle. It also resists shocks and atmospheric agents, above all in consideration of the fact that it is obviously used for work in open environments. This tool complies with all applicable regulations regarding elevating work platforms. Thanks to its yellow paint; it comes with a useful design to improve its visibility.

In addition to the fiberglass cage, the structure is made up of 2 large macro components. They are: the arm and the piston. Using the piston, the customer carries out the operations needed to level the operator basket. This leveling is done using the jack. By blocking the jack, the customer manages to ensure that the basket does not produce oscillations, avoiding risks to his safety. As previously mentioned, the other part that makes up the structure is the arm that wraps around the basket. On the end of the arm we can find a perforated plate. The girder will then be welded to this perforated plate. It is a component, not supplied with the basket, which serves to connect the basket itself to the crane. It is consequently made on the basis of the dimensions of the last extension of the crane.
On the Soltecshop website you can also buy the EN280 kits of 2015, which are used to make the basket perfectly compliant with the standards, according to the standards set by the EN 280 decree of 2015.
